Fireside Festival turns the Yarra Valley’s cellar doors into fifteen days of warm fires, long lunches and cool-climate wine each June, and Yarra Valley Lodge sits right in the middle of it all, close to wherever the festival takes you that day.

About the Fireside Festival

Fireside runs across the region each June, more than 30 producers taking part with their own fire-themed events, long-table feasts, cellar door tastings and one-off collaborations that don’t happen the rest of the year. The format builds toward a closing night wine trail in Healesville, past editions have poured through venues like Four Pillars Distillery and the Healesville Hotel, with hop-on hop-off shuttles linking them so the night moves at its own pace.

Dates for the next edition are yet to be confirmed. Wine Yarra Valley, the festival’s organiser, typically announces them a few months ahead of the June event. As one of the region’s biggest dates on the calendar, tickets tend to sell quickly once released.

Fireside spreads across venues throughout the Yarra Valley, with the closing night specifically based in Healesville. Yarra Valley Lodge sits close to both, an easy base whichever part of the festival you’re heading to on a given day.
