About
Four Pillars Gin is one of the most recognised distillery experiences for guests staying at Yarra Valley Lodge, located in nearby Healesville.
Set inside a working gin distillery, Four Pillars gives guests a different way to experience the Yarra Valley’s food and drink scene. The distillery is known for its modern Australian gin, copper stills, botanical blends, Gin Shop and Gin Garden, where visitors can settle in with a G&T paddle, cocktail or something from the distillery kitchen.
Why visit Four Pillars Gin
Four Pillars is less about a quick drink and more about seeing where the gin is made. Guests staying at Yarra Valley Lodge can book a table at the distillery, join a guided tasting, browse the Gin Shop or plan around one of the hands-on experiences offered throughout the year.
The distillery hosts a rotating calendar of tastings, workshops and masterclasses, including G&T tastings, cocktail workshops, distillery tours and Maker Sessions. These are worth checking before you visit, especially if you want to learn more about the gin-making process or make the distillery a feature of your Yarra Valley itinerary.
The Gin Shop is also part of the experience. Guests can browse the Four Pillars range, look out for limited releases or choose a bottle to take home as a gift. For couples or small groups staying at the Lodge, it can be a relaxed afternoon in Healesville before returning to the estate.
