Conservatory

The Conservatory looks across the open-air terrace and adjoining gardens, giving events a strong connection to the estate throughout the day and into the evening. With capacity for up to 200 guests depending on the format, it can move from a corporate event into dinner, or host a celebration where the food and setting are central to the experience.

Menus are created by the Lodge’s chefs around seasonal produce and local suppliers, so the Yarra Valley comes through on the plate as much as it does through the windows.

From Conference Day to Dinner

After a day in Marmion Ballroom or Birrarung Room, the Conservatory gives corporate groups a clear change of pace. The room can be set for dinner while the terrace is used for drinks or time outdoors before the evening begins.

It is a simple way to bring the Yarra Valley into the conference experience, with local produce, seasonal menus and the estate setting becoming part of the dinner rather than an add-on around it.

AV and Event Support

The Conservatory includes built-in AV with projector, screen and audio, along with flipchart, whiteboard, HDMI connectivity and Wi-Fi. For additional production requirements, Yarra Valley Lodge works with Myles AV, who can provide tailored equipment and technical support.

Weddings in the Conservatory

For weddings, the Conservatory gives couples an indoor reception space with the terrace and gardens right alongside it. Drinks can begin outdoors before guests move inside for dinner, with the setting carrying naturally from afternoon into evening.
