Father's Day Ideas, Gifts & Activities
Come Sunday, 3rd September 2017 and there will be an onslaught of home made pottery items, 'I Love Dad' mugs and more socks, ties and boxer shorts than you can squeeze into that top drawer!
Father's Day 2017 will be here before you know it, and it's time to start thinking about what to get for Dad this Father's Day. If you live locally or in Melbourne, we already have your lunch sorted with our American Carnivore-Lover Buffet (book now as there are limited spots!) but what to buy / make Dad for his special day? So whether you are into Fathers day craft, or perfer to do it by store or experience, here's a few top Father's Day ideas from us at YVL.Here's a list of our favourite Father's Day Ideas and Activities to make this year extra-special:
With our stunning Lodge being situated on the Heritage Golf Course, a round of golf is a must (perhaps pre-lunch buffet to work up that appetite)!
PERSONALISED DAD PRINT
OK, so anything personalised pretty much goes down a treat. We love the idea of this personalised definition of Dad print - sent framed it's super cute and you can make up your own definition. Something for his office desk perhaps?!
Old Skool Arcade Game Hire. Seriously ... he will LOVE it. You can hire these usually all weekend. Space Invaders anyone?? Alternatively, head out to your local arcade gaming venue and have a ball with eachother playing all the fun games.
Romantic night out with Mum. You could either organise it with Mum (choose the restaurant / movie / venue) and offer it as a gift card on the Father's Day morning. Or to be more creative and personal - how about setting up an in-house restaurant? You create the menu, do the cooking, lay the table and candles ... If that's too feminine for Dad (or a.k.a boring), how about a lad's night in and kids / Mum away night?! Footy on TV, beers in the fridge, and all his favourite snacks #winner!
BEAUTIFUL GIFT DAD
- A beautiful watch, leather wallet or cufflinks (if he's a business suit type wearer) doesn't go astray. Something he can keep long term is always valued, loved and remembered. You don't need to break the bank (or perhaps if you have siblings all put in together?).
We love any opportunity to put together a range of gifts for these special days. Regardless of the gift, a huge hug and kiss will do just as well :))
